Setting the scene for success
SIGNS ARE GOOD FOR LOCAL BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP
When Oswestry-based sign and print experts Scotprint were asked to help brand up a new department in a furniture store, neither company had any idea how mutually useful this new business relationship would turn out to be.
Because not only did Scotprint produce the signage for the very successful launch of the nursery department at Shannon Sales in Chirk, they discovered the perfect backdrop for promoting their own range of personalised gifts for children and babies.
Debbie Wright, proprietor of Shannon Sales, said: “We opened our new nursery furniture department this summer, and Scotprint provided us with banners and
A-frame signs, to let people know we had expanded. Hilary and the Scotprint team were really helpful and full of ideas for other things we can do to help our business.
“The new department offers an extra attraction to customers, which helps us to keep on successfully competing with the big stores. In fact, things are going so well that we aim to begin opening on Wednesdays very soon.”
Scotprint managing director Hilary Richardson adds: “We like to work closely with our clients to make sure what we do really adds value to their business. We don’t just sell them signs or corporate clothing or promotional products, we aim to enhance their brand.
“And because we try to build better business relationships, it is always exciting when we can support one another’s work. In the case of Shannon Sales, they allowed us to use their beautiful nursery department for a photoshoot to showcase our latest product range which includes personalised gifts for babies and children, such as nursery lamps, toys and cot blankets.”
The resulting pictures, taken by timmitchellphotography.com of Oswestry, will appear in brochures and online.
